“I came looking for the Teen Titans. Due to my own over-confidence and naiveté, I got my friends killed and the world was taken over by Emperor Trigon. I was forced to hide and watch as he destoryed everything that stood in his way. It wasn’t just the Titans he killed; it was the Justice League as well. I was the only thing that could go against him and I failed. I finally managed to find a safe place to gather my energy and make a jump. I had no set course, I just wanted to find a reality where the Titans were alive and the world was at peace. That’s all I wanted…”

Raven is from a reality in which her father managed to defeat the Teen Titans, decimated the Justice League, and took over the whole western hemisphere. Alone and scared, she tried and failed to avenge her team and family, and finally ended up hiding wherever she could. Once she managed to find a decent hiding place, she gathered her powers and used everything she had in her to open a rip in time-space. She walked through it, not knowing where she would end up, only hoping that she would find a group of Titans (not to mention an entire world) that was still at peace and without the scar of her father’s rampage.
